Retail Pharmacist

An exciting opportunity exists for the right candidate to work as a Retail Pharmacist with the team at Complete Care Drive Thru Pharmacy. This position is a full-time position working in a Pharmacy located in the northern suburbs of Wollongong.

Benefits

Pay Range: Between $76,550 and $85,000.

Task & responsibilities

• Dispensing prescriptions and over-the-counter medications accurately and efficiently
• Providing patients with professional advice and counselling on the safe and effective use of their medications
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
• Maintaining strict adherence to all relevant pharmacy regulations and guidelines
• Assisting with the management of pharmacy inventory and stock levels
• Contributing to the overall smooth operation of the pharmacy
• Performing a wide range of vaccinations
• Treating minor ailments within your scope of practise
• Medication packing supervision and checking accuracy

Qualification & experience

• Australian Health Practitioner Regulation agency (AHPRA) Registered Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and team members
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
• Proficiency in using pharmacy software and technology
