Web Developer

Contract Web Developer role available.

I'm working with a NSW Government client who is looking for a solid level 5/6 Web Developer to join the team on a 3-month contract. They’re in the middle of a major site migration from IBM WebSphere to the NSW Design System (Drupal), so they need someone who can hit the ground running.
 
Contract details:
Company: NSW Gov Authority
Role: Web Developer (must be experience with Drupal)
Day rate: $500–$500 + super per day
Duration: 3-month contract initially – could extend
Location: Sydney, Hybrid – 2 days at least in the office
 
The role:
You'll be working alongside content designers and a project manager to build and maintain accessible, user-friendly content in Drupal. This includes editing pages, building templates, supporting content QA, and making sure everything meets WCAG guidelines.
 
You:

• Strong experience with Drupal – this is key
• Good grasp of HTML and CMS platforms
• Comfortable with JIRA, and the usual Microsoft tools
• Basic understanding of writing for the web and accessibility (WCAG)
• Attention to detail is a must
• NSW Government experience would be great, but not essential

 
You'll be part of friendly supportive team, I'm looking for someone reliable who can get stuck in and keep things moving without too much handholding.
