Supervisor

Monadelphous is currently seeking a highly motivated Supervisor to join our Gladstone Operations team on a permanent basis.

This is a dynamic role which will see you carry out a wide range of tasks from planning, coordinating, supervising daily activities of work crew and assisting the operations team in between projects/shutdowns

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Allocate work and provide direction to relevant trades specific work requirements.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures to ensure timely completion.
• Supervise, coach and mentor direct reports; ensure that site workers have the necessary competencies to undertake assigned tasks.
• Communicate with client representatives on a day-to-day basis, to plan work, keep them informed of progress, resolve any issues of concern and identify variations or additional work required.
• Make informed decisions to resolve technical issues, resource shortages, and unexpected challenges.
• Documentation & Regulatory Compliance.

What you will bring

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as trade-based supervisor working in shutdown environments, preferably within Alumina or similar continuous processing plants.
• Australian Trade qualification in Boilermaking highly regarded.
• Proven ability managing multidiscipline work crews.
• Experience in effective planning, scheduling, management of personnel, resources and equipment to meet Project requirements
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of workplace health and safety.
• Sound proficiency in the use of MS Suite (Outlook, Word & Excel)
