Job Description:

The Subsea Field Specialist is responsible for delivering safe, accurate and on-time jobs, and for preparing, dispatching, executing, reporting and closing out services in the field for customers. Install or Repair Company products such as Subsea Test Trees and Control Systems, Wellheads, Christmas trees, Tubing Hanger Running Tools, in accordance with OneSubsea procedures and guidelines. Advise customers on repair and replacement options and troubleshoot equipment during installation and maintenance when required. Examine, repair, test and maintain products at customer or company sites and service centres. Be a liaison between Company onshore and customers during installation. The Subsea Field Specialist also identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery. Successful position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Supervise and direct the installation or servicing task to ensure a safe and efficient operation of company’s subsea equipment and technology

· Investigate and diagnose any deficiency which may impede the efficient installation and act to correct the situation.

· Provide the customers representative with sufficient information and guidance to ensure the correct task completion

· Assist with training and competence development of personnel as required both onshore and offshore.

· Report faults or areas of improvement which will ensure continued product development

· Assembly and testing onshore and offshore, (including recording of test results)

· Complete Service reports, FPR’s, EWR, EOWR, and other administrative duties associated with the department or project

· General duties associated with the service and engineering tasks

Qualifications and Experience:

· Qualification in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline is desirable

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position is desirable

· Strong adaptability to different environments working offshore for extended periods of time.

· Competent in both Oil Tools and Subsea Controls specific to SLB/OSS

· Confident communicator with a customer focus

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Computer literate
