Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Gladstone, QLD

Project: SUSCAP Mining & Mineral Processing Projects

Duration: 12 Months Casual Contract (with a view for extension)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and perform electrical engineering services in accordance to the statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.

• Assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules.

• Provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities (write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders). 

• Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.

• Attend site visits and participate in project reviews, HAZIDs/HAZOPs, and safety in design workshops as required.

Qualifications:

• Based in Gladstone.

• Bachelor of Engineering - Electrical (essential) accredited by Engineers Australia.

• 10 years' experience in electrical and instrumentation design in the Refinery/Mining industry or similar.

• Proficiency in brownfield electrical systems modification detailed design and knowledge of instrumentation and control system interfaces.

• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status / RPEQ Registration / RPEV Registration or are eligible to attain this registration within 6 months of your commencement
