Practice Nurse

We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our team.

Experience in a General Practice Nurse role is preferred. We are looking for a candidate with a genuine interest in primary care.

Yarra Glen Family Clinic is a Medical Clinic based in Yarra Glen.

The position is Part Time

Key responsibilities:

The role will report to the Practice Principal/Practice Manager

• Deliver quality customer service to doctors, nurses and patients

• Maintaining a safe, healthy and professional working environment

• Preparation of care plans and health assessments

• Assist in developing programs which will enhance patient care

• Immunisation – adult & child

• Wound management

• Infection Control

• Cold chain management

• Assisting with minor procedures

• Assisting with iron infusions

Essential Criteria:

• Current Nurse (AHPRA) registration

• Previous experience in a similar role

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Computer skills

• Good time management

• Ability to work within a team and autonomously

• Australian Resident for work purposes

Desirable Criteria:

• Medical software knowledge - Best Practice an advantage

• Current CPR certificate

• Nurse Immuniser

• 5 days/week preferred, flexible hours
