Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Computer Network and Systems Engineer to manage and optimise our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and performance of network systems, ensuring connectivity, security, and system reliability across our office and mobile work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, configure, and maintain internal networks, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless systems

• Monitor network performance and server health, implementing upgrades and patches where needed

• Manage firewalls, routers, and security protocols to protect sensitive business data

• Deploy and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and hybrid environments (e.g., Azure, AWS)

• Support and troubleshoot connectivity for GPS tracking, telematics, and mobile systems used across transport operations

• Develop and implement backup, disaster recovery, and cyber security plans

• Document network configurations, system updates, and IT policies

• Liaise with vendors and contractors for infrastructure rollouts and system maintenance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in network and systems engineering

• Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments and cloud platforms

• Strong understanding of networking protocols, security standards, and data protection

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments in a dynamic work environment

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in the transport, logistics, or construction sectors

• Familiarity with ERP systems and network monitoring tools

• Exposure to asset tracking, GPS systems, and remote support platforms
