The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, and dynamic Internal Communication Specialist initial 2-year fixed term contract. This role will be responsible for delivering engaging internal communication solutions that support organisational goals and enhance employee engagement and culture. Key duties and responsibilities include:
Working closely with the Communications and Program Engagement Manager to implement, develop, execute, and enhance communication strategies that foster an engaged, informed, and aligned workforce
Partnering with the business with delivery of day-to-day communications
Contribute to and support with the creation of forward-thinking strategies to support O’Brien® goals and improve the overall employee experience
Managing and monitoring internal communications platforms
Enhancing O’Brien®-wide internal communication by providing clear, engaging, and purposeful content that informs, educates, and motivates employees
Creating tools and equip leaders with all necessary communication tools, resources, and information to effectively engage with their teams and stakeholders

What we are looking for

3+ years’ experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a similar role
Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of communication strategy/ plans that align with the organisation's strategic direction, purpose, and values
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build excellent working relationships with senior stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages for diverse audiences
Experience with digital tools (SharePoint, Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.)
