About the role

This is a full time permanent opportunity, based in either Milton, QLD or Parkville, VIC. Reporting directly to the Design Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing compelling visual, on-brand assets, according to client briefs and feedback
  • Applying effective design principles whilst consistently considering UX and accessibility
  • Acting as a brand guardian to ensure Dementia Australia?s brand is appropriately and consistently represented across all assets
  • Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of the brand guide, applying innovative design principles
  • Regularly updating design skills and actively seeking out new ideas, concepts, and creative thinking

About you

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualification in graphic design or creative industries.
  2. Minimum five years of demonstrated experience in a graphic design role.
  3. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop, Animate, Illustrator, After Effects and Premier Pro.
  4. Experience in digital design tools like a WACOM, Figma and project management tools such as Asana (highly desirable).
  5. Contributes daily to upholding our Brand Pillars, Voice and Personality as described by our Culture Statements.
  6. Continually develops and applies specialist and technical skills and expertise to achieve work outcomes, and collaborating with others.
