The Role: Mechanical Fitter / Technician
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be working on high-performance hydraulic systems and gearboxes used in large-scale mining and commercial equipment.

Task & responsibilities
Your day-to-day will include:
- Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing hydraulic and mechanical components
- Disassembling and reassembling machinery to manufacturer specs
- Completing accurate service reports and technical documentation
- Performing functional tests and quality checks
- Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and OHS regulations
- Occasional on-site installations at client locations
Qualification & experience
What You’ll Bring:
- A Trade Qualification (Cert III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
- At least two (2) years relevant work experience
- Proven mechanical aptitude and eye for detail
- Physically fit with a safety-first mindset
- Forklift, dogging, or rigging licenses (highly regarded)
