Facilities Manager

About the Role

As our Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations,

maintenance, and strategic oversight of all campus buildings and infrastructure.

You’ll play a critical role in maintaining a safe and functional learning environment

while supporting our long-term sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead and coordinate all maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment projects

across the campus.

 Ensure the campus complies with all relevant health, safety, and

environmental standards.

 Oversee the upkeep and operation of key systems, including electrical,

plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety.

 Manage relationships with contractors, service providers, and external

vendors.

 Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans and manage facility

assets.

 Monitor operational budgets and ensure cost-effective facility management.

 Collaborate with internal teams to meet facility needs efficiently and

professionally.

 Drive sustainability initiatives and improve energy efficiency across campus

operations.

 Guide staff and subcontractor teams while promoting a culture of safety and

excellence.

What We’re Looking For

 Qualifications in project management, building, construction, or a related field

(highly regarded).

 Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a facilities or operations

management role. (higher experience would be preferred)

 Strong commercial mindset with the ability to enhance operational

performance and manage financial outcomes.

 Proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and achieving financial targets.

 Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

 Confidence in using technology and self-managing responsibilities with

minimal supervision.
