We are currently seeking Experienced Diamond Drillers for Australia wide based projects in Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, WA, NT, NSW and Tasmania.

FIFO from all capital cities including New Zealand.

Below are some of the essential attributes we are looking for:

  • Physically fit and healthy, and enjoys working in an outdoors or underground environment.

Below are some attributes that will be well regarded:

  • Experience drilling with Diamond Drill Rigs and RC Drill Rigs.
  • Cert III in mineral drilling (Commenced or completed)
  • Current HR license (with no restrictions)
  • 4x4 driver training
  • Working at heights qualifications
  • Senior First Aid or Remote First Aid qualifications
  • Fire extinguisher training

The key functions of Driller role include

• Health, safety and wellbeing of the drill crew and any visitors to the drill site 

• Leadership and direction of the drill crew 

• Correct set up and operation of the drill rig 

• Maintenance of the drill site and associated equipment to the required standard 

• Training and development of self and crew members 

• Ensure that Pre-start checks, and safety inspections are completed to required standards. 

• Ensure that servicing and maintenance of drill rig and auxiliary equipment is performed to the required standard. 

• Ensure that hole plans are read/understood, and the drill rig is correctly set-up and authority gained (where required) to commence drilling. 

• Rig operation complies with all company and client policy/procedures. 

• Ensure core recovered is complete, clean, accurate and clearly marked up 

• Ensure drill site is always maintained to required standards through housekeeping and regular inspections. 

• Effectively communicate as required by company and client. This includes written reports, electronic reporting, and verbal communication. 

• Active involvement in training of driller assistants 

Below are some conditions you must be able to meet:

  • Able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical.
  • Must produce a clear drug and alcohol screen.
  • Current National Police Clearance
