Diesel Technician


Your New Opportunity:
As an Off-Highway Diesel technician, you'll have to opportunity to work on all aspects of Off-Highway machinery with a focus on our mining engine brands. If you have some experience on any of the equipment on the focus areas, but not all - no worries! We've got some of the best technician and instructor led training programs to help you along the way.

About you:

  • Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic/Diesel Fitter with experience in heavy vehicle, plant, marine or power generation equipment
  • Strong in diagnostics, maintenance, service and repair of heavy-duty vehicles and trucks
  • Exhibiting knowledge and experience in mtu, Deutz, Mercedes Benz, Detroit Diesel, Cummins and Allison Transmission products would be highly advantageous.
  • Practical working knowledge on the operation of appropriate machinery, tools and equipment.
  • Easily work independently, but just as happy working in a team
  • A commitment to, and promotion of safe work practices
  • Have effective communication and teamwork skills, and actively promote Penske's values and purpose.
