Task & responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our recipes and quality standards.
- Managing and mentoring kitchen staff while coordinating daily kitchen operations.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in compliance with regulations.
- Planning and designing seasonal menus with a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction.
- Monitoring inventory, ordering supplies, and managing stock to minimize waste.
- Ensuring efficiency, consistency, and timeliness in food preparation and service.
- Collaborating with management to uphold the restaurant’s vision and standards
Qualification & experience
- Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery or Kitchen Management, or equivalent culinary qualification
- 3 years experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen safety, and sanitation
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Passion for food, creativity in menu development, and attention to detail
