Task & Responsibilities
- Identify and apply suitable cleaning solutions to effectively treat stains and discoloration on carpets, windows, and other surfaces
- Apply protective treatments such as soil repellents, deodorizers, and pest control agents to maintain carpet quality and freshness.
- Utilize specialized cleaning machines and attachments to deep clean carpets and upholstered furniture, ensuring thorough dirt and stain removal.
- Use equipment to brush and lift carpet fibers, revitalizing the appearance and feel of carpet surfaces.
- Apply chemicals and use high-pressure cleaning techniques to eliminate contaminants from water filtration systems, swimming pools, and cooling towers
- Load carpet cleaning machines with water, detergents, and other cleaning agents, ensuring proper mixture ratios for optimal performance.
- Operate wet vacuums and other suction tools to clear dirt, scale, and residues from drains and other critical areas.
- Provide clients with post-cleaning instructions for maintaining carpets and furniture.
- Keep detailed records of cleaning activities, client feedback, and maintenance schedules.
- Work collaboratively with team members on large cleaning projects, offering guidance when needed.
- Train new team members on carpet cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Operating pile-lifting machines on carpets and using brushes to restore and fluff the carpet's nap
Qualification & Experience
Qualification: Higher Secondary Education or Certificate II in Cleaning Operations or Related Field.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in Carpet Cleaning service experience preferred.
Requirement:
- Experience: Experience in carpet cleaning or a related field is preferred
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and operate heavy equipment, Comfortable with prolonged periods of standing, bending, and manual labor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on delivering high-quality cleaning results, Ability to identify and address problems such as stubborn stains or odors.
- Time Management: Ability to complete tasks efficiently within specified timeframes.
- Knowledge of Cleaning Products and Equipment: Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods like steam cleaning, dry cleaning, and shampooing.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
