About the role
This full-time Canvas Worker role at Kenlow is based in Maddington. You will be responsible for the fabrication, repair and installation of a variety of canvas and PVC products, including caravan awnings, annexes, tarpaulins, custom covers, tool bags and more. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your practical skills and craftsmanship to support the operations of a leading trades and services company.

What you'll be doing

  • Measuring, cutting, sewing, welding and installing canvas and PVC materials across a range of products

  • Operating industrial sewing machines, high frequency welders and other tools and equipment

  • Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet the required standards

  • Assist with the movement and organisation of materials, including stock control

  • Finishing, packaging and coordinating freight of our products, including receiving deliveries

  • Collaborating with the wider team to ensure timely delivery of products to customers

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Canvas Worker, Upholsterer, Motor Trimmer or in a similar hands-on, practical role

  • Strong sewing, fabric cutting, welding and fabrication skills

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Positive and solution-based mindset and a willingness to learn
