Cabinet Maker

About the role

Centrefire Joinery is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team in Bayswater, VIC. This full-time role is responsible for the design, manufacture and installation of high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture for residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

• Fabricate custom cabinets, built-in furniture and other woodwork using a range of machinery and hand tools
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality standards and client specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
• Assist with tool maintenance and workshop upkeep

What we're looking for

• Completed apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Cabinet Making or Joinery
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Cabinet Maker, preferably in a custom or bespoke furniture workshop
• Strong knowledge of cabinet design, construction methods, materials and finishing techniques
• Proficient in using a range of hand and power tools, including CNC machinery
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication and time management skills
• Committed to maintaining a safe, organised and clean work environment
