A remarkable opportunity is available for a highly motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) with expert clinical skills in caring for the cardiovascular patient to join the leadership team in a private hospital in Melbourne.  There are both full-time and part-time options available for that position. 


ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager your responsibilities will include:
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Cath Lab;
  • Participating in team nursing for patients admitted to the Cath lab or post-procedure in PACU;
  • Working collaboratively within the cardiovascular healthcare setting;
  • Maintaining a professional relationship and working comfortably within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology Nursing;
  • Post Graduate qualifications in Cardiovascular Nursing or working towards the same;
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office products;
  • Proficiency in email software and electronic communication;
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in managing acute situations in a rapidly changing environment;
  • Willingness to undertake further studies or to pursue other self-development activities.
