Are you someone who loves to lead and inspire teams to create effective digital marketing strategies? We're looking for an Associate Director of Performance Marketing & Media to join us at RMIT University. In this role, you'll make a real impact by developing strategies that resonate with our diverse audiences.

Your Role

As part of our team, you'll craft and execute marketing strategies that truly speak to our students' needs. Leading a talented team of 10, you'll foster an environment where innovation and learning flourish. You’ll work closely with social coordinators, audience squads, and media partners to ensure our marketing efforts are in sync and effective. Managing our marketing budgets wisely will be key, as will measuring the impact of our initiatives using tools like Adobe Analytics.

To Be Successful In This Position, You’ll Have

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing with a focus on digital media, technology, and data
  • Proven experience in leading and developing a high-performing team across multiple markets.
  • Strong financial acumen, with expertise in P&L management and revenue forecasting.
  • Deep understanding of buying, planning and measuring results for both ATL (TV, radio, print, OOH) and digital media (paid search, social, programmatic).
  • Strong understanding of the martech and adtech landscape. Experience with Adobe tools (Analytics, CDP, Audience Manager, Launch, Ad Cloud, Social Search & Commerce), Flashtalking preferred.
  • Knowledge of international media channels such as Baidu, WeChat, Weibo, Little Red Book, Douyin, and WeCom would be highly regarded.
  • Expert ability to apply structured thinking and analysis to deliver business insight and strategy with highly developed diagnostic, analytical and conceptual skills to identify and drive successful marketing solutions.
