Benefits

The position offers a competitive base salary of AUD 77000- 78000 per annum plus superannuation.

Task & responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food for patrons, including daily meals and food specials.
• Create and execute a diverse menu with a focus on quality, presentation, and seasonal specials.
• Cater to dietary requirements to ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
• Ensure all food preparation meets health, safety, and HACCP standards.
• Contribute to menu development, including new ideas and concepts.
• Support and guide kitchen staff where needed.
• Coordinate with suppliers and support the Head Chef in key supplier engagements.
• Manage inventory, including weekly stocktakes, receiving orders, and maintaining accurate records.
• Assist in the ordering process to ensure stock levels are maintained efficiently.

Qualification & experience

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Culinary Arts or a similar discipline.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in culinary management or kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of menu development, food cost management, and general kitchen operations.
