Bricklayer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Bricklayer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying bricks, pre-cut stone, and other types of building blocks in mortar to construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Lay bricks, blocks, and pavers in line with construction plans.
• Construct and repair walls, arches, partitions, and other structures.
• Cut and shape bricks, blocks, and other materials to size.
• Mix and apply mortar, ensuring proper bonding and alignment.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and maintain a clean work area.
• Comply with workplace health and safety standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

• AQF Certificate III in Bricklaying or equivalent qualification desired.
• At least two (2) years of relevant work experience.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work from technical drawings.
• Physically fit to undertake manual labour.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
